CCAEA meetings are open to public sector design and project management professionals in California and neighboring states. The Association meets three to four times per year, typically alternating meeting sites between Northern and Southern California, and in conjunction with the Counties General Services Association Conference (formerly GSA Academy). CCAEA membership is not required for attendance. Meeting topics are drawn from topical areas of interest to the profession including project delivery, project cost and quality assurance, sustainability and energy conservation, code compliance, legislative policy, industry economic forecasts, financing, environmental and legal requirements. Each meeting includes a roundtable discussion allowing each County to share updates on their particular projects, organization, issues and items of interest.
